RCMP say Hwy. 59 is one of the main "drug pipelines" in Manitoba. At a press conference Jan. 27, RCMP said the highway is one of the main "subsidiary routes" in Manitoba used to transport illegal drugs into the rural northern parts of eastern Manitoba.

Monday January 16th, 2012 7:30 pm, report of a residential fire in the LGD of Pinawa. Fire attended, police not required. 10:18 pm, report of a suicidal person in the RM of Lac du Bonnet. Police attended and transported person to hospital for medical assessment.
